Oleathia "Butta B-Rocka" Robinson is a Grammy Nominated Featured Artist, Telly Award-winning music supervisor and filmmaker, and 3x best-selling author based in Atlanta. She has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Janet Jackson, Kanye West, Usher, TLC and Akon, and wrote, directed, produced and starred in the feature film Finding The Perfect Guy. She is the founder and CEO of BBR Indie Films and the founder of the Artists Rock The MIC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting college students experiencing homelessness through the arts. She is a Governor of the Recording Academy's Atlanta Chapter (the Grammy Awards) and a current board member of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment (NABFEME).
Oleathia "Butta B-Rocka" Robinson is a Grammy Nominated Featured Artist, Telly Award-winning music supervisor and filmmaker, 3x best-selling author, and nonprofit founder whose career moves fluidly between the recording booth and the director's chair.
She has had the pleasure of working with artists such as Janet Jackson, Kanye West, Usher, TLC, Akon and Zac Brown Band, and her catalog spans soul, worship and rock — most recently the album Thankful and the single More Than Enough.
As a filmmaker she wrote, directed, executive produced and starred in the romantic comedy feature film Finding The Perfect Guy, now streaming across 26 platforms, and is in production on Thankful: The Emotion Picture. Her work as a music supervisor and filmmaker has been recognized with a Telly Award.
She is the founder and CEO of BBR Indie Films, one of Atlanta's most consistent platforms for independent filmmakers, and the founder of the Artists Rock The MIC Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that supports college students experiencing homelessness through the arts.
She serves as an Atlanta Chapter Governor of the Recording Academy, the organization behind the Grammy Awards, and is also a current board member of the National Association of Black Female Executives in Music & Entertainment (NABFEME) and a former board member of Women In Film & Television Atlanta (WIFTA). She is a recipient of the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.
She also hosts the Transparency Talks podcast, carried by iHeartRadio and six international stations, and publishes Defiant Ones Teen Magazine.
